Tweeding Along

Crafty Weasel and myself have come up with an exciting KAL ready to kick off the fall and winter months! Its called Tweeding Along!!

The rules are simple!

* start date First day of Autumn 23rd September

* End date First day of Winter 20th March

* You pick the project and we pick the type of yarn, yes a little backwards I know. But as long as you are using some tweed yarn the sky's the limit.

* This is my first KAL and I believe Claudia's as well.... Am I right???

So if you want to join email us at tweedingalong(at)gmail(dot)com or leave a comment here and we'll get you started! We want to enjoy our tweed with all you other tweed enthusists so tell all your knitblog buddies to sign up so we can have a great knit together.

Tweed ya'll later :)

I'm not feeling twee(d), but I'll mention the knitalong! It does sound fun... I just always seem to overcommit myself, so I'm trying to resist!

So is there a certain brand of yarn we would have to use or just anything tweedy? I might think about joining in for this one. :)

I might need to give this real thought. My next sweater MAY fit the bill but I need to stash dive first. Good idea regardless!

I followed Chris' link. Hi Kelly! I'm considering your KAL. One question: end on the LAST day of winter or the first day of SPRING? The first of winter will not be March 20, at least not here in central Minnesota.... :-) Betty

Hmm good question. I guess first day of autumn and last day of winter, wherever that is in your part of the world, don't you think too Kelly?
